Amaia Montero borns in Irún in 1976.In 1996, she started the group La Oreja de Van Gogh, sang in talent contest but they didn't win.
In 1997 , Amaia went to another talent contest-they won! They got a contract with Sony.
In 1998, They released their firts CD called Dile al Sol. They played 150 concerts.
In 2000, They recorded second Cd called El Viaje de Copperpot.
In 2001 , Amaia sang with Alex Ubago on his firts CD.
